Windmills

I've been looking hard to find a windmill. The reason being I am sick of paying the electric company $500.00-$600.00/month in heating bills in the winter. I was reading a website promoted by Mega Billionaire T-Bone Pickins where he is pushing we all encourage Wind Power. After looking at his website It came to me.. WHY? I sent an email to them basically saying the following: So we push clean energy and get wind farms up to save the world and get clean re-newable energy. Wind Farms sounds great BUT What will doing this do for me the citizen. Not a thing. So the electric companies now has a windfarm, they have cheap energy and their expenses are now lower. Does this mean I will get cheeper electricity of save money? No I doubt it.

Why support big electric companies when I should support myself first. The governmant made it years ago where electric companies have to buy excess electricity off you and now the Gov and some states even offer rebates if you go wind. This was great news I thought untill I started looking into the prices. Wind energy is so new here in the USA that everyone or anyone selling them wants BMW prices for them. I then went where I thought I would never go to find a windmill. China. Yes I said it. (shame on me) but hey, I found comporable systems there for 1/3 the price. Looking at a website earlier I say a statement saying something like "in 10 years" your windmill will have paid for itself. WTF!! 10 years? A business sells and the going price is 4-5 years the value. What is the deal with 10 years? In 10 years the the windmill will be starting to fall apart like a car and it will be 10 more years before it starts paying off for the new windmill you buy again.

My goal is to find a windmill for cheap that the avg middle class can buy and have it pay for itself in just 3-5 years or less. I swear, if I won the mega lotto, I would creat a company to manufacture windmills and flood walmart with them so they can be bought cheap by anyone. Who says competition isn't good.

Well below are some of the prices I got from China. Some high, Some low. I just wanted to get them out to you so you can see what I mean. Also I am posting my electric consumption chart for my home which I just got so that I can see what exactly do I need to be self supporting. Click Here.

I found all these by going to the following website There are tons of winmills, wind generators there. I have to tell you, some beat the price of US suppliers hands down. Some also match the US prices. I guess the Chinese think they are in a US Marketplace world. Check them out and let me know what you see.
